this is the mother of all test programs better than prime!!!

If you wanna know how hot your proccessor will really get, then get this im worried as mine hit 56 degrees where as i never seen it go above 48

basically down load the program go to teh settings bit change the load slider to 100 and watch as teh 4th test runs watch your cpu temps soar, the go about 5 degreees higher than prime after a certain amount of time!!!

i am so supprised and believe me it test stability i can priem for ages but this fails pretty much instantly :( back to teh drawing board!!!

Outta interest people who decide to use this post back weather yr stable and the top temp uhit using this and then the normal load temp u get!!

d/l program here http://testmem.tz.ru/snm.zip

I have to say in the past prime stable or even 32m superpi stable has proven to be rock solid for me.

I see no benefit of stressing things out a little more, if what we already use proves that the system is stable for our needs.

A useful program for burning in perhaps?

yes i never thought of it like that, mav will u just try it for testing to see hwo your temps are and see if you can complete test move the slider on processor check down to quick if u want temps to load up quickly

mmmmm, I dunno phil, making it go hotter to what end?

I can only think of something going bang and TBH I got my rig running real sweet - (after 2 MOBO RMA's and 2 GFX RMA's).

With that in mind I hope you can understand why I must respectfully decline.

I did 6 hours solid of encoding last night with mo problems so I think the unit I have is pretty stable.

I am interested to see what the results would be though.

Cheers

Hell I use microsoft word to test the stability of my system :p

On a serious note I think I'll stick to prime and pi 32mb :)
