Right well I'm pretty obsessive with what phone I have so although my contract runs out in August I'm looking now.

So far top contender (if it's out then) is the Sony P1 (thx XMS for pointing it out)

Second is the Sony W950i

sorry couldnt resist :p

ive always had good experience with sony ericsson, but every o2 phone ive had has been terrible, not sure if their pda series follows this trend tho

As an XDA owner id say get it !!!!

Notable Software : VNC, Pocket Putty, Skype, Office, Mortplayer, Media Player, Opera PPC and a shed load of other software which just make life easier

Try the Trion Tho (400MHz 64Mb Ram)... QWERTY Keyb is a large bonus LINK

Or The Orbit (201Mhz 64Mb Ram).. GPS LINK

Argon is 400/128

take a look @ the indepth specs this is usually a gd site http://www.pdadb.net/

and IMHO WM5 is the best PDA OS out there

XDAs are meant to be awesome little things. Came within a hair of getting one mehself when the Orbit suddenly dis-appeared >.< They did bundle some navigation stuff with it also.

The XDAs are a little fragile, the P1i is a way off yet and pricey.

I've had a P800, P900, P910i and now a P990i.

The P990i has had a lot of bad reviews and does have its problems but I'm very pleased with mine.

I don't know if you get them in the UK, but the Motorola Q seems really cool, and has a qwerty keyboard.

Problem solved by getting XMS's Dell Axim :)

Might wait for the Sony Ericsson P1 and get that on contract though as I have not seen one phone I actually want

I hate phones, always break them, always buy the one with the best features and never use any of them, if only I could get hold of that old Nokia with the stubby aerial again, I'd be happy, you could chuck that off a cliff and it'd still work :D

i had a xda last year still use it now just as a pda as it has wifi brilliant bit of kit, N95 i wouldnt touch i know my local shop has more people wanting exchanges for faulty ones than they have n stock and my brother inlaw is on his second a month after having his first usual nokia n series faults they jsut keep putting to much on the phones and it kills them
