I'm currently looking to upgrade my rig and my budget is $1000-$1100 aus dollars, i'm pretty new to building computer and i could use some hints and tips, and some suggestions for some parts all help is much appreciated thank you

Think that this needs to be moved to New Build Advice. And i would suggest you wait till intels ivy bridge comes out before you look to by anything.

Yup, IvyBridge is very close now so you should just wait like said above.

+2 for Ivy. What are you going to be using it for? Gaming, HTPC, etc...
