New OC3D Public CS:S Server!!!

The SysXtreme Gaming Server has now been placed in a colo in London with a VERY fast internet connection.

The server specs are as follows:

Intel Celeron 2.4ghz @ 3.5ghz

CM Hyper6 + 2x Tornado Fans

Corsair PC3200 2x512mb

Hitachi 7200rpm 40gb (needs upgrading as only 2mb cache).

It is currently running as a 20 person server, we will see how it goes and maybe increase it to 24 after a bit of an upgrade.

The server will also shortly be running a VOIP proggy (TS or Vent) that we can use during matches.

I am also configuring another instance of CSS specifically configured for clan matches (CAL config) that can be brought up on request if any of the SX clans need it.

well i will soon be getting cs:s, i an sure my ping will be more than 100ms but imo ventrillo is much better than ts in my experience i found that vent didnt lag as much as ts on the same pc same country and so on and i found vent is much more clearer than ts

ok i need to be added, i got booted cuz i exceeded 100ping...but i have no name or nething dont know hwo to make one or w/e. it said my name was unnamed Need some help here too

ok when you open counterstrike, go to "options" and there is a box where you can fill out a player name.

in order to add you to the exceptions list we need your steam ID. to find this join a server, open the "console" by pressing `(its next to 1) and type "status". Your steam ID looks a bit like this..
