Sort of a crappy way to meet new people (I came here from another forum in the whole Fragtek thing) but I don't like joining forums just to make a point, and then leave. It's sort of rude, you know? So let me introduce myself:
I'm an immature old man who never got tired of playing video games. Instead of telling you my age, I'll just say that I've paid quarters to play both Tank and Pong...and can tell you what arcade games were like BEFORE video! I work in the defense industry in the United States. I live in California, though I'd love to move to another state here. Besides gaming, I enjoy firearms and Harleys.
I'm running a modded Antec Dragon, 3.4 P4 Core 2 Duo (NOT a dual core...darnit), 4 GB Corsair Extreme RAM, XTX1900 (512), ASUS P5WD2E Crossfire Edition, a TT Toughpower 750 and a tiny 80 GB PATA.
I modded the Dragon to take the Koolance liquid cooling system, added a couple of lights--just enough to make it look cool when the room is dark and get some "OOooooh....AAaaaaah" comments from friends.
I enjoy FPS and Adventure games, but don't have fast enough reflexes to be competitive. I just have fun, you know? I specifically love Half-Life (all of 'em!), Oblivion, Battlefield 2142 (Sixtigers on there, if you play), and currently am playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R, albeit single-player.
