This does not excite me. Why does everything these people make have to be on a massive scale? Every story is about the end of the world or a great war. Why can't they focus on a smaller scale? Why not make something like a GTA set in the Mass Effect universe, where you basically play as a nobody? You can tell a million different small stories set in the span of a year due to how absolutely fucking massive the galaxy is. You can have a story about a bounty hunter, about a C-sec officer hunting a serial killer, about a mercenary or a million other things and none of them have to be about saving the galaxy or being involved in some massive conflict on a galactic scale. But these people just can't help themselves. They always go for the story about some big event that encompasses the entire world of the game. It's lame, it's cheap, it's old and it's been done so many times that I just can't get excited about these types of stories anymore.
