Hey guys, I posted this here last night, but due to the time I did it, I was tired and did a very poor job. My apologies but now am much more awake so here is a proper post!

Btw, please excuse the horrid cable management, just got the case and had to get up and running fast. My spring break is coming up this week and I will tend to it properly then!

Now I know you see that spec sheet and see that some things do not belong, and you would be correct. I built this rig a year ago on a much stricter budget than I am on now. I plan to upgrade the Graphics card to a nVidia GTX Titan as soon as I can, probably around the beginning of summer.

Then I will be doing the most unnecessary Liquid loop probably ever proposed. 2x Alphacool UT45(480mm) in the main chamber, and 2x Alphacool Monsta(480mm) in the rear chamber. The pumps will be 2 Swiftech MCP655 pumps connected via bitspower mod top. The res will be a phobia balancer 250mm Nickle, all the blocks will be EK Supermen nickle + plexi blocks, cooling the Mobo(as soon as its released), CPU, and titan(planing to add another in the future). With this i will be using Noctua NF-P12 fans and a bitspower X station to power them all, and to power everything else I will be upgrading to a cosair AX-1200.

finally I will make use of my motherboard massive storage capacity with 8x WD black drives, either 2TB or 3Tb, raid 1. and 2x Samsung 840 pro 512Gb in raid 10.

Obviously this will take a lot of time and money, so much money, but as far as I am concerned it is worth it. Computers are my passion, I wish to be a system builder when I finish school. Please, do not tell me how much you think this is a waste, its my time and my money and this is how I choose to use it, I please ask you to respect that. I will be posting updates here in both written and picture format as soon as I am able. Thanks for the time and the long read.

Have you thought about getting more SSD's rather than HDD's? Would be a lot quieter and faster. Other than that i'm looking foward to seeing more

I did, but unless the price of SSDs comes down drastically I will be using HDDs. I watch and store a TON of HD movies, at any given time 20+ each being 14+ GBs. I also only use FLAC encoding for music, making each of my thousands of songs anywhere form 7-12 Mbs. The HDDs will also give me a lot of mass storage for my Steam/Origin library and movies.

You know you'd need at least 4 drives to do RAID 10? Only saying, as you mentioned using 2 Samsung SSDs.

I'm all about sticking the big spinners in a separate box under the staircase nowadays (SSDs only in PCs, bulk storage is taken care of for them all by a homebuilt NAS on steroids), but considering the amount of space in a TH10, go for it. Even with all the liquid overkill cooling later you'll still be looking for things to shove in it to fill up gaps.

Thanks for the info, I had not known that. I may use raid 0 for the SSDs, I'm sure with time, as all builds do, my ideas for it will evolve with the tech that comes out.

that is the actual case. other people use that as a cage for their rabbits.
but it has noctua fans, so i'm okay with it.

Mother of God... LOL I love that there's almost nothing in the case at the moment x-). Based on your proposed spec sheet this thing is gonna rock! Any plans for dye in the coolant or a UV theme or anything like that?

That is an M8, the TH10 is one size bigger.
Add another 3 5 1/4 bays and 4 fan mounts in top and bottom instead of 3.

With that kinda case you need something a lot bigger than an h100 It looks like it's getting gang raped by those noctua fans, poor guy

I do, I will use Mayhem Aura Blue for showing off, and Mayhem UV Purple for the rest of the time. I love the purple loop, especially because I want the build to have a deep space reactor kind of look, like something out of EVE.
