New Living Room AV Rack

Thought it was about time I updated my SDTV and speaker set to something more fancy. Spot the extra addition too

The rack:

Mounted the rear speakers on the walls. Just finding something to cover up the wires atm

What we have:

32" Samsung LE32R87BDX LCD TV

SAMSUNG HT X30R Home Cinema System (Composite, awaiting HDMI cable)

Sky+ (SCART)

Nintendo Wii (SCART)

PS3 (HDMI + Optical Audio)

Geeky thing to do would be to turn the melody setting to atleast medium on the tv

Melody?

Yeah, explore the menus dood! (infact try all settings for everything, u be supprized how many things can look better)

U can put a geeky on/off melody on - off/medium/high.

It aint the coolest of melodies, but it`s freakin clicky for showing off

I watch movies @ 1920 x 1068 on it atm, biggest tip for if u`r using a pc to play movies on it, is to select "Just Scan" (although it will have to be a connection that the tv can pickup a scan from tho) for the screen size. Anything else can crop u`r picture in one way or another. NVidia drivers above 93.. or so I found to suck big time @ HD output, but then I`m not using a G8

Nah I just use the PS3 - upscaling to 720p ftw

tbh 1080i is not as good quality than 720p

I have explored the menu's and adjusted stuff of course
