New ITX rig

Gigabyte GA-E350N-USB3 (1.6Ghz dual core 40nm, 40nm 500Mhz 80 Radeon cores on die) http://www.ebuyer.com/259099-gigaby...cessor-onboard-vga-dvi-hdmi-7-1-ga-e350n-usb3

Extra Value black ITX chassis + 250w PSU bundle (system will use around 45w http://www.ebuyer.com/205560-black-mini-itx-case-with-250w-psu-20-4pin-with-sata-pix1001

4GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR3 1600Mhz 1.5v 9-9-9-24, the reason for the high frequency is frankly it will make a significant difference to the 6310 and although technically only 1066Mhz is supported I have seen up to around 1500Mhz work in reviews on that board, so am happy just to get an overpowered module and downclock it http://www.ebuyer.com/264749-g-skil...y-module-cl9-9-9-9-24-1-5v-f3-12800cl9s-4gbrl

450GB Samsung HDD 7200rpm (already have this from previous build)

Cheap skate keyboard http://www.ebuyer.com/202780-xenta-black-full-size-keyboard-usb-uk-layout-hk-6106

I plan to take this to school (bit of an excuse really) for my I *ahem, english with a computer, ahem* T course and for when I stay around my brothers house so I don't have to bring the main rig out and have it clunk around in the car.

Hence, I don't see need for a display as there are plenty at the places mentioned and around the house I can connect up to. I might order another cheap slimline keyboard for it too (already have a spare mouse).

All in all, (£17.14 + £131.02 + £26.11 + £2.99) £177.26 (last time I calculated) is not half bad for another system (was going to get an Xperia Play origionally, but Windows is more productive than Android).

Be interested to see how this comes together, I've been wanting to build an ITX rig for a few years now.

How quiet is it? Mainly thinking about the built in PSU and the small fan on the M/B.

Will have Windows installed tommorow, didn't see a point buying a molex optical drive for a one-off use when my brother is coming over anyway and has a USB drive and a legit Win 7 disc - I'll let you know (hopefuly I'll remember
