Hello everyone I just signed up as I have ordered all the components to build my new gaming rig which is pretty exciting I'm not gunna lie lol

It will be the first time I have built a pc since my old AMD Athlon 64 3400+ build about 10 years ago so I figured I had better get myself on some new forums.

I'm currently using an old 2009 Acer laptop with a Core 2 Duo mount aloft 4 drinks cans to aid airflow as it overheats, an old Samsung monitor and bargain basement keyboard and mouse for gaming (minecraft at the moment as it only just copes with that) so I have bitten the bullet and gone for it and ordered a pretty high end rig.

I'm hoping to build a nice looking rig and have a dabble in overclocking, I may put a build thread up if that's the kind of thing you do on PC forums I'm used to car forums.

I was going to add a couple pics of my current gaming setup for a laugh but when I try to post pics from my photobucket using IMG codes it says upload them instead which seems abit silly.

Welcome to the forums mate!

We do build threads here, so feel free to post one up. We are a helpful bunch here :)

What's wrong with Thermaltake?

To quote another YouTube reviewer "Thermaltake are ok if you like low quality cheap feeling badly designed products with less than ok performance at a high price point"

Other than that they are great !

Just had a look round at some thermaltake reviews on here I wasn't aware their products and service were so shoddy!

I'm still waiting for most of my kit to arrive but the important bits are

Intel Core i7 4790k
Asus Maximus VII Hero
Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II 2 way SLI
32GB Kingston Hyper X Fury 1866
Samsung 850 Pro 256GB
Weston Digital Cavier Black 4TB
Corsair AX860i (hope this is powerful enough)
