hey guys...
i bought a gtx 760 and what not, along with a new power supply (corsair cx600) and i plugged both of them in, and the card isnt working properly, as far as i can tell, its not on, and its using intergrated graphics still, but the card is plugged in and everything, i cant install drivers and i dont know what to do... any ideas?
when the PC posts, it does show it detects the card, but thats about all...

So you can boot to windows whilst plugged in to the card ?

Post a screenshot of your Device manager and expand Display Adapters...

yeah, i think it is running on intergrated graphics though, thats the problem, along side the fact that we cant install drivers
hold on, kinda failing at sending this picture as you cant send pictures direct from your files

Doesn't show as Nvidia card in device manager.
Display is plugged into the new graphics card so it works to some extent...

yes, im sure its plugged into the graphics card, and it doesnt say, in the geforce diver downloader, it does the compatability checker, then it comes up with a thing giving you options on what to install... like display driver or physX, and it starts the install, and when installing the display driver, it fails, and the screen goes off then on again, and it says that the instalation failed, but it doesnt say why or any numbers or anything?
but i believe it can detect hardware, but not sure, it doesnt detect fully in gpu-z as you can see, so i dont know what to do.

if you want to, i will do a remote acces if there is something you want to look at that you think might help. but thats just if you want to, cause this is my first build, and i want it to work. :(

First of all, no double posting mate, use the edit button in the first post and add the needed data.

I will try to help you out later today as I don't have access to my pc as I'm at work

ok, because of time zone stuff, i wont say what time il be able to do it but in how long, so in 13 hours ish, if that is no good for you, then i may be able to get out of some time up to in 4-5 hours time... what time do you finish?
also, when i try and install drivers with windows driver update, and select the file location of the drivers, it fails and i get code 28. i dont know if that means anything too you?
