Something Very Nice Dark and interesting from EVGA
NEW Classified Motherboard for Intel Processors - Z87 > ???

Real refreshment for eyes in the sea of similar hardware.
If I cross on Haswell that will be because this motherboard, redesigned BIOS
and possibility for two generation in one socket.
Haswell/Brodwell.

Looks alright, but I'm not really bothered with EVGA boards, except for the SR-2 of course
I've heard some pretty bad stories about them

It's not only SR-2, X58 FTW/Classified(whole line), P55(whole line), Z68 FTW.
Z77 series and X79 series is problematic. With other it's nothing than only random problems and in much less number maybe than with some other manufacturer.

Blue is not EVGA color.
And I like that. If you ask me colors for motherboards are black, grey, red, some silver and white details and nothing more.
For me is this Z87 Classified one of better their motherboards.
Bottom heatsink is very nice.

To be honest EVGA boards are crap. Very high failure rate. Wouldn't buy it or recommend it. I'll stick to MSI/Gigabyte.

Huuu you find what to recommend, better say ASUS ROG than if you want something. They have similar finest work when you look board on close look.
Even EVGA in hand is much nicer experience, special now new models with 12 layer PCB, you can sit on board she stay right. But ASUS is boss for BIOS and optimization and EVGA for design and style.
But new boards came with NEW redesigned BIOS, modern.
They try hard to avoid Z77 and X79.
Z68 FTW example and board before that was excellent, special X58, P55 series and famous SR-2 Classified. It's not easy to make 2 models and all enthusiast look on that and compare with best and if something bad happen than manufacturer is in problem. GIGABYTE usually made 25-30 models, for Z68 they had 32 models. From that half how work I don't know,ASUS every series 2-3 models crap worse, OK ROG series is really leader but someone look and something else.
I love EVGA because it's little difference than others and with ASUS I feel as one episode in series of 10.000 with EVGA again some special feeling.

haha i know its not an EVGA color, i said nobody, the entire z87 platform has hardly any blue. I would a grin from ear to ear if somebody made a high-end all black and silver/grey/white board.

I mean usually best boards are combination of that colors.
Black/red, black/grey, sometimes even white details can look good...
But these colors are best for motherboards black/grey motherboard you can combine with all colors,

Things will change after III World War when west rebuild own fabrics.
I will first start to buy only made from Germany, England, USA, Netherland as before 20 years. That things work and today after 30 years.
Than we can expect better quality, you see how Charlie spoil and sabotage Apple and EVGA and other...
Probably is somewhere in our hardware and Taipei spy devices...
They try to control world, with west money...

Who cares.. the only interesting board they have coming up is the X79 Dark. Don't get me wrong, I really like them as a company but this EVGA fanboyism and brand loyalty is complete bs. Hate to see people jumping onto the Classified bandwagon.
