When I look at those screens, I realize that if I attempt to play the game, all I will see are screens put together, moving slowly, almost showing action but not really. At the 5 FPS I'll be getting I'll be lucky to not destroy my computer in frustration.

Farcry was a big hitter out of the blue. With awesome graphics and quality gameplay/AI it was a great little game. People discounted it cause Crytek were small back then but they made a great game and were the first to come out with a HDR patch.
Farcry was far (excuse the pun) from a disappointment
I pretty much have the same gripes as well as little nitpicks such as taking too many shots to kill anything, etc. To me, it was a standard run and gun graphics game.
