tested with F@H and some UT3 action. This is at 1.27V real

Speaking of those apps...F@H doesnt seem bothered by the 1MB cache or the fact I was running single-channel to start with, and with 2GB RAM, UT3 is totally playable, despite the lower cache volume.

Im pretty much shocked by how this chip does in real-world apps. At ballpark £45 delivered, its a friggin steal!

I cant/wont post OC limits until the 27th because im taking part in a % OC competition...which I intend to win. 100% is not the max though, or close ;)

Cooling is entry-level water (120.1, 400LPH pump, X20 CPU block)

GPU on UTIII is a 7900GS, stock clocks.

:D

hehehe.

Going to be breaking out the DICE then for this chip? :D

That is nice on that watercooling.

Shame I wont have my phase unit before the first stage of that OC competiton closes. :(

Nice results there kenny, i can see you getting a lot more from this chip, well done mate on the results and keep pushing.

My 2160 does 3Ghz on stock cooling.

temps are 28 idle and 50ish under load! really chuffed with this chip

wish i could sing the praises of gigabyte board tho. 2 p35-ds3r's in 2 weeks. Trying a p35c now - tight fit but it works. Is the only diff the fact the p35c does ddr3? Rebooted and all worked fine - no need to reinstall but I did have to convince microshaft I wasn't using a pirated key.

I can only imagine what this chip is capable of under LN2. Amazing clocks out of the box on water, can't wait to see what you pull out of the hat for the competition. Cheers! :beerchug:
