motherboard, p8p69 deluxe (if another is a better price for relatively same specs let me know(pref asus)

cpu, I7 2600k

gpu, gtx 570 (not sure what brand would be best for overclocking)

memory, Corsair XMS3 Dominator DHX+ 16GB DDR3 4X4GB DDR3-1333 CL 9-9-9-24 (heard this was good for overclocking, opinions welcome tho)

psu, Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850M 850W ATX Modular Power Supply(this is the main thing i need help with, not sure if its too much or not enough psu for overclocking ram,gpu and cpu)

ssd, (for os not sure what size to get for a good price)

hdd, Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Sata 6GBPS

case, Corsair Carbide Series 500R

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks

MB: That is a nice board but I would probably recommend maybe the Gigabyte UD5 or maybe the Asus Sabertooth

GPU: Get the MSI Twin Frozr III 570. That is what I am using currently and it performs like a champ, low temps/fan speed under load and nice overclocking.

Memory: Corsair does make great memory but 16 gigs is a little much if you are not doing heavy rendering/workstation computing. I would go with 8 gigs.

PSU: That is more then enough to power your system.

SSD: I would recommend getting a 128 GB ssd, generally those are best price per GB. Sata III of course, preferable Corsair in my opinion.

CPU Cooler: I would recommend the Corsair H100, and if you are doing any sort of overclocking you will need an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Every thing else looks good to me, it will make a pretty awesome rig.

If i was you i'd wait until Ivy Bridge is released and buy an IB mobo and CPU. Also 850W is overkill for that system, 650W would do just fine.

I would go for a i5-2500k if you are only going to game on the system, but the 2700k/2600k if you are going to du more "heavy stuff" on the computer

I would also go for a 560ti 448core, witch performe just al tiny bitt under the 570 but is much cheeper.

About the SSD, dont by a SandForce SSD:

- It's know to be unrelieble (som claim that the have fixed the problem, but i don't know)

- It's only fast at compressable data, but looses much speed on non-compressable data.

Therfor i think the Corsair Performance Pro is a good choice

Thats a nice setup but if it were my build i would go with this:

CPU: i7 2600k

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5

GPU: XFX AMD Radeon HD 7950 OC Black Edition (if you have the money)

Memory: in my opinion you dont need 16gigs, 8gigs is more than enough

PSU: Corsair make greats PSUs but i would go for a HX edition as you will have better cable management as it is modular

SSD: Corsair Force Series 3 V2 120GB

HDD: 1TB Samsung HD103SJ SpinPoint F3

CPU cooler: i would reccomend a after market cpu cooler such as the noctua nh-d14 or the corsair H100 if you want to over clock and also the intel stock fans are terrible

Case: great case stick with that

Hope thats helps in your choice you could also wait till ivy bridge which is coming soon that is what i am doing.
