new board which one

the wife has given me £240 for a new am3 board and some ram i need some advice on which board to have. i want 8gig of ram which takes £100 out of the equation these are the three boards im looking at

at the min my chip runs @3.9ghz and i dont want a drop in speed which has got me leaning to the amd chipset and not the nvidia one

There was a review here. Think that it was between 3, 6 and 12 gb of ram.

using 8 will mean not having tri channle.

6 over 3 gig showed a fair improvement compared to cost.

6 to 12 was not so noticeable.

So it would make more sense to have 6 then go to 12 for a bigger Epeen ;D

Yeah dual afaik.

Reason for the 8g question was to see if any of the £100 could be tapped into.

Tbh I'm so out of touch with up2d8 AMD stuff, I couldn't say whether that's a good choice or can bee improved. Sounds good.

Think I may put an AM3 rig together in the year just to re-familurize.
