New 8800 GTS Details

Freshly spotted on another forum..

But here we have the new 8800 gts model with 112 stream processors. I'm not sure about the quality of the source, but if the price is reasonable it looks like a very reasonable bit of competition for the 8800 gt.

Something doesn`t seem quite right.

This looks like how I`d expect a re-jigged old GTS 640 to perform - ish.

And it`s pcie v1.0. Is it evan G92 ? If it aint, it looks like an exercize in clearing out old stock. wtEf with the price.

that cant be the new 8800 GTS, the new 8800 GTS i thought was gonna go back to 256 bit not 320, because it was more expensive and not much performance gain.

yeah its just a old style GTS. Getting release at the wrong time.

Well BFG already have their EE SSC edition on their site. When you click on the tech specs, it says "Stream Processors" 96++

I still think you're right though, they have unlocked the stream processors to sell remaining stock before the G92 revisions come out

There isnt a way.

Its just a 8800GTS with 112SP's and quite higher clocks. Performs better then the 8800GT.
