Siverstone is preparing their take on the 1000W PSU. Aimed squarely at the PC enthusiast, this badboy isn't pulling any punches by providing 80a on a single 12V rail. Can't wait to get your hands on one? Feel free to let us know below...

I second that.

Also, what's the price point USD?

All will be revealed soon. I'm also trying to find out who manufactured this unit so we can get an idea of how good it is before the review.

If you look at the inside of the p and c you will see clutter and very little room for air to flow.

I LOVE the Silverstone:worship: Much nicer design (hope the quality is as good)

GO Silverstone GO!

Less clutter usually means less components which could = less stable rails. I actually adore the fact that PCP&C has used every last bit of space in their model, and it definately shows in the numbers.

And my thought is more stuff is more chance to mess up...:D

(not only are our cases at opposite ends of the spectrum, so is our thoughts on engineering)

If we dont end up flaming the heck out of each other we would make a good team...

if there is space around the components it dosent take too much to keep a PS cool.

(On my Crossflow I shut down the fan to see what would happen it ran 6hrs and just was warm)

But if its tightly packed the heat transfers to other parts making them warm as well.

The 80mm fan on the Silverstone can run quiet at normal loads but when the load raises so does the speed/noise....
