Netflix raises its US pricing to deliver "more entertainment choices"

They are spending money hand over fist for their exclusives... It ain't cheap. And they aren't growing as much as they could be. Kinda no option outside of new markets but they already are in so many.

Arrrhhhh matey, Time to sail the high seas ! :D

Pretty sure if they removed Geo blocking, that would help get alot of subscribers back.

Yeah, many refuse to pay the same amount for 50% of the content that other countries get. And they're also very strict in their fight against VPN's; many do not work with Netflix.

I'm not paying any more than I am now. For a simple reason. There are only about three shows I watch on there, and all of the serial killer docus they have done. As such I only watch it for about 4 weeks out of the whole year and continue to pay any way as my brother uses mine.

I suppose if you were a big film buff and watched the crap out of it every day it would be worth it, but for me it's not. I watch Prime about as much, but there are other uses for that beyond the watchable content.

Yeah, in your case I'd say the same.

However in my case, I have pretty much every streaming service out there, Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV, Discovery etc. Although my entire family uses basically every service more or less on a daily basis, so in that regard it's worth it for us :)

Not up to them. Up to Hollywood lobbyist getting lawmakers to make entertainment of all forms highly restrictive. Blame the big guns in Hollywood. Netflix just has to comply.

This is why Netflix is highly intent on creating their own shows and movies. They can distribute them across the globe with no issues of copyright infringement. It's also the reason Netflix is in debt. They are spending a fortune of internal production.

I just got my subsciption included with my Sky package gonna save £40 a month as was out of contract
