The film had such potential. Great director, great cinematographer, amazing cast, well-funded, veteran stunt coordinator, and interesting and expansive source material.

I think im one of the few who enjoyed the movie. Its just that the story needed much more time to elaborate. So cramming it into 1.5hours didnt do it justice.

A lot of people enjoyed it, yeah, but when you look at the calibre behind it, it could have broken the trend of poor to average video game adaptations.

I agree, I haven't played the games etc, so didn't know the story behind them etc. The same with the Witcher series, but I felt the movie being very rushed.
