Hey guys,
So I'm having some trouble here...
I can't seem to access a certain site, it happened earlier today on another site as well.
The fun part is that a certain part of the site earlier didn't show up, so I didn't see it fully... although for 2 of my mates, it worked fine.
Now, a site is completely dark for me, says it's down for me... although for my mate, it was working fine.
I've tried clearing cache etc, unplugging and plugging the lan cable to the PC and still the same... I've right clicked the net icon in the bottom right on the menu bar and done a search, and it says that I can view some sites and some not.
My mom did the same and hers was fine.
She has had some bigger issues with her PC recently and especially with her HDD... she had an Trojan on her PC (according to her Norton) and she wanted me to see if her external HDD was dead, so I plugged it into my PC. I opened up "My computer" and I double clicked it to see if it worked and it started thinking and then explorer.exe froze.
So I unplugged it and since then my Chrome has started to not work fully on certain sites... can it had been due to her external HDD maybe infected mine or something? :huh:
I saw a post of YouWhat on here to check on another device to see if the same site works and I tested on my iPhone 5S chrome and it was the same issue there.
I went onto http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ to see if it were down or not and it says the site is working fully and is probably just down for me. Which is it, completely.
Get an all white page with "This webpage is not available".
Also getting an error message:
ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED
Anyone know what this is, what's causing it and perhaps how to fix it?... much appreciated!
