i have a 22" lg vga screen. on my old 5770 it was crystal clear, but on my new 7870 the picture is slightly blurry... really bugging me. so my next upgrade is a new screen. i was thinking about a 27" screen but i dont think this is needed, im sat next to a 47" tv for movies. so the screen is for normal use and gaming.
my question is, i dont want to spend more than £150
24" seems to be the sweet spot (i think)
my current screen is a 16:10, 1080p is 16:9, 1920x1200 is 16:10.
for gaming would the extra vertical res make much difference?
people on here seem to be saying get an ips screen, but this is not proving fruitful
EDIT: just been playing round with the settings on my monitor, and i have managed to somehow get it sharper than my dvi secondary monitor. this does not mean i dont want an upgrade, however it does mean that the urgency is gone.
