Need suggestions for wireless cable router

Hi there peeps, I havn't used a router before(never needed one) so I'll need suggestions on what to get.

I use virgin cable 20mb, at the moment I have my modem upstairs for my desktop pc, but now I need the internet for a pc downstairs too.

For the pc upstairs I'll have wired to the router, I sometimes use torrents so I need a router capable of doing that, downstairs pc would use wireless just using the internet normally.

Been thinking about getting the Netgear N WNR2000, what do you think? any suggestions?

ive been using the netgear wgt624 v3 and i have had no issues with it. Its been great.

Get one with 802.11n technology, its the newest and fastest one, (300mb transfer and 70m signal radius)

I just went and spent £95 on the D-Link DIR-655 haha (amazing for downloads and gaming)

oh yeah and whatever you are using to receive the wireless signal downstairs (if you havn't bought anything) get it with 802.11n too, if not at least if you get a router with this, it kinda future proofs you

Isn't the Wireless N standard still in drafting? I've heard that there are incompatibility issues between Wireless N products of different vendors as they use different technologies/forms of Wireless N.

Wireless N is fairly new but it's the thing to go for.
