Need some info from Promie owners.

Here is my set up curently on air:

Shuttle SB95P V2 (Shoe box)

P4 Prescott 570J 3.8GHZ stock.

Corsair ZMS2 5400c4 4-4-4-12 V1.90 667MHZ 3-3-3-8 V2.10 O/C

250 GB hitachi Deskstar SATA

Asus Extreme 6600GT PCI-e Zalman VF700Cu 1.2GHz/570MEM

Plextor DVD R/W.

ICE heat pipes systems

Curently can hit 4.5GHZ O/C on air with temps reaching about 65C-67C.

At stock temps are idle 50C 64C load.

What kind of performance could I reach using a Promie Mach II GT?

Need to justify spending?

Any idea how much such a project will cost me with everything I need?

Welcome to the forums.

I don't know much about clocking P4s but I'm assuming you'll need a new case too unless you're doing something crazy with your shoebox. You can ask phil for a PC60 style case that will match a new Mach unit. It'll be around £70(?). Would you also need a new motherboard or is your current one a standard MATX type one that eill fit in a full size case?

So cost of mach unit you want (see products for price) + £70ish for a case (possibly + another £70 for a new mobo?).

The mobo is a micro non standard.

I plan on cutting into the Shuttle from the side to feed the DD on to the mother board.

I like the small unit I have already, but temps are holding back. My shut down is 70C hence the 67C limit reached on 4.5GHZ.

Does the computer have to be in an air tight enclosure to keep condensation out or just the head of the feed?

The head has it's own insulation so there will be no condensation.

I have some issues to iron out becuase the LGA775 mounting holes are wider and non standard. It's roughly 88mm x 72mm

Need to make sure the head can be modified to the dimensions on the housing on the Shuttle. But been around all the SFF's and seems no one has Phase cooled a Shuttle.

But will post some images once the project is finished.

The condensation scares the hell out of me!

LOL don't worry about condensation. I've had problems (mainly through my own fault) but I've never had any permanent hardware damage. It just causes reboots and crashes usually.
