Need opinion on a Hard Drive

Hello World =P

I have a Barracuda 2tb with me ,
i don't think is bad but i wanted some opinions on a new hard drive ,
i tought about Seagate's hibrid 2tb+8gbs . i have 100€ to spend more or less

i would prefer less of course

some reviews make that hibrid drive better then almost all hdd's... other reviews make that sshd side by side on a barracuda 3tb , wich are almost the same prices

i had an ssd before (ocz agility 3) and i didn't feel any difference from hdd to ssd , i normally let my computer on 24/7.

i also know ssd have fewer years of use comparing to an hdd.

i could also buy a cheaper ssd and some sort of cache solution but i know nothing about that .

i need opinions .

Thank's in advance ... =P

Nope on everything.
An SSHD only makes sense if you use it as your primary drive because it improves boot time a little. Get the 3TB HDD instead.
The main difference between HDDs and SSDs is of course the boot time, if you don't reboot your PC you will only notice a small difference when you load programs from the SSD.
SSDs have a far longer life expectancy than HDDs. Most HDDs aren't expected to last longer than 3 years. SSDs can't have headcrashs, they are far more resistant than normal HDDs.

If you leave your pc on 24/7 then a WD black or purple would be the way to go
I had to google WD purple, never heard of them.
Seems like a WD black would be a better choice, but they aren't cheap. I suppose it depends on how much storage space he actually needs.

For storage the 2tb Baracuda is fine. As said above you shouldn't really use a hybrid for storage. Although if you're limited to only 2.5' drives then its a bit more feasible.

Thank you guys , it will be for my new gaming rig , got it at project logs ;) , from the store i trust here in PT they said WD is not the brand to go right now as they receive alot for RMA =S

On average the Seagate HDDs die after ~2 years, WD drives after ~3 years. I have a barracuda drive as well though, they are fast and cheap for recording.

My barracuda as 5 years i think =/ thats why i tought hdd would last longer
but i think i will leave at that , ssave the money for later if the drive fails .
