I am looking to buy an internal SSD HDD...I'm tired of my mechanical HDD being louder than my computer. It's starting to sound like the old tele type or dot matrix printer in a box when it reads/writes. I know were hot on Kingston at OC3D, so I'm going to go with that.
I'm in the planning out stage right now. I'll be running 1 for now then adding 2 more a little later.
SSD HDD's are Alien to me at this point. I was looking at Kingston's site and have decided on a 128 Gig SSD but have some questions.
It looks like I have 4 choices as follows (all SSD Now).
A. V100 SATA II My link or...
B. V+ 100E SATA II MLC My link or...
C. V Series SATA II My link or...
D. V+100 SATA II MLC My link.
What's the difference between...V series, V100, V+100, V+100E?
What's the difference between plain SATA II and SATA II MLC?
Of course anything is going to be an improvement to my noisy about to fail mechanical HDD. Lol
