Alright I have a problem. Keep reading about what headers to use for the cooler I got. Here I need the correct way from the best place to get it from. Here is what I got.

Corsair 570x case....has 3 fans that come with it.
Asus Strix Z270F-Gaming Motherboard.
Corsair H100i V2

What is the best config for this setup that I got and if anything in BIOS to change please also.

This is what I'm doing now
Corsair H100i V2 is hooked up to CPU Fan and the two fans are on the splitter.
2 out of the 3 case fans I have hooked up to CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2, the 3rd fan I cant use because no more headers for CHA_FAN.

The only other headers that are not being used is the CPU_OPT, H_AMP_Fan and AIO Pump.

Corsair Link is I have the fan and pump running on performance and the fan is hitting 2340rpm and the pump is hitting 2850rpm.

Headers can handle up to 1A. With that in mind, you could connect your three front case fans together with a splitter and connect them to one fan header.

Assuming you have an exhaust fan, you can then connect that to another header. (or even hook the exhaust fan on to the same splitter. The nice part of your fans connected together is that any adjustments made in bios will adjust them all instead of having to tweak different channels.

for the most part fan header labeling id just for identification purposes. Most these days are all controllable thru bios or software equally. As warchild said hook the 3 front fans to a fan splitter so each is controlled the same. And the rear fan to a separate header and control it accordingly. The cooler sounds like it setup perfectly wiring wise, just go into the bios or install the software from manufacturer and set them up for best performance.

yep thanks guys....looks like everything is working great now. im going to get 6 new corsair hd fans and replace the ones i got. also going to pick up the commander pro from corsair for the splitter. its been over 10 years since i built a computer lots have changed.

Why buy 6 new fans unless your changing them all together. The case only holds 6 to start with and I've found the included sp120's to be very decent fans. I'm running 6 of them in my 570X 3 on front for push on my 360mm rad 2 on top pushing into case ( for looks) on a 240 mm rad and one exhausting out the back. All run off a Phanteksusa fan hub hooked to the CPU fan header.

Can't go wrong with what I've heard about the commander will allow fan speed and lighting control thru one device very nice.
