Need help with first time loop

Hey guys

I have some money spare since I bought my system last may and I want to upgrade it a little. I have been thinking about water cooling it since the day I bought it so I have been trying to educate myself on how to watercool.

What I am wondering is are these parts ok for my system listed below.

Cpu: intel 3930k overclocked to 4.6ghz at 1.35volts
Gpu: Evga gtx 680 reference 2gb overclocked by 120mhz gpu clock and 300mhz memory
Case: Coolermaster cosmos 2

The blocks I was looking at are
Cpu: XSPC raystorm
http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=14598
Gpu: XSPC Razor full cover

Pump/res: XSPC X20 750L/ph 12v Pump and bay res
http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=10479

Will this pump and res be sufficient for my system?

Radiators:
360mm in roof: XSPC EX 360mm Crossflow (will explain that in a sec)
240mm in base of case: XSPC EX 240mm
http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=15447
http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=14705

Will the combination of these radiators be enough for the cpu and gpu?

Coolant/dye/fittings etc
Right I am looking at using the mayhems dye and water
Dye:

Water: http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=12494

How much fluid would I need 1ltr or 2ltr?

Also what do you guys think of white fluid in a black case with an asus sabertooth x79 motherboard? Would it look good?

As for fittings I am thinking these

Will these fit and how many should I need. I am thinking 10 but want to be sure.

Tubing:

How much tubing would I need 1m-2m? Will this fit with the fittings above?

I am also thinking of using white leds in the water blocks of the cpu and gpu and res which I am thinking of setting up to the buttons on top of the cosmos 2 case which has an led on/off switch.

I am thinking of using the Corsair sp fans these ones to be exact
http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/product.php?productid=15960

I am thinking I will need 5 fans 3 for the 360 rad and 2 for the 240 rad. I am also thinking of going for the performance over the quite fans because I can hook them up the cases fan controller and lower the speed that way if they are too loud on full speed.

Here is a quick image of how I am thinking the loop should go together. Will this work or should I change anything?

Would I need a 90deg fitting from pump/res up to the rad? I am also thinking I may be able to hide the tube coming from the 240 rad to the res behind the motherboard tray and there is a good chunk of room but that would be something I would need to test.

So will this work any help is greatly appreciated as this will be my first time water cooling.

Thanks

Look at my CKC rig for inspiration.

As for what fittings to use matey you can never really answer 100%. You just need to get a couple extra and be ready to make some changes/wait and order the right stuff.

A watercooling loop should be done right and if that means waiting a couple days so be it.

considering the room you have in the bottom and the fact youll loose the HDD bays you should either put the RX240 rad in the bottom OR put 2 AX240's in the bottom. Might aswell do it right fist time and make sure you can run all the fans at silly low RPM and still get good temps.

This^^

Many times over.

Extensions and 45's being the most common must have fitting,so many times they have held me up...
Are you dead set on a bay? You can clean up the loop by reversing the flow and using a pump/res combo, that run from the bay to the bottom rad will not look good...to me anyway

As much as i love the Raystorm, there was a rumour floating around that it didnt perform well with SB-E specifically. I may be mistaken but its worth looking at. Although not performing well can mean a 2c difference to the more anal watercooler....

Thanks for the advice so far guys.

My attitude to this atm is nothing is set in stone and is very much subject to change. I am willing to take my time to get this right and I will try to get it right the first time.

As for the fittings I was more concerned that everything would actually fit together ie 1/4 thread and 3/8s fittings with the tubing etc. When I asked about 90deg fittings etc I was just wondering if people would recommend them in certain areas that they would think would be too tight for just a normal barb/compression fitting and tubing if you get me ie the planned connection between the top rad and the bay res the way I had it.

I am not set on the bay res pump combo I just picked it for ease in my mind. I am open to buying something different to make the loop clean looking performing well.

Lastly a quick question to you tom, I plan to at a later date get a second 680 and water cool that too maybe next summer so would I be better off sticking with the ex rad and get one now with the plan of getting a second in bottom for the second 680 next summer or would I just get the rx and be done with it now?

All suggestions are welcome for parts and layout etc, as I said nothing is set in stone. I just want a good looking and performing loop for now and the future possibilities.

not sure if you've bought it yet, but it's cheaper to buy the pastel white premixed and ready to go into the system. It's the same price as the concentrate on specialtech.

Then you just buy some cheapo di water from halfords or w/e for flushing and your set.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Unfortunately I wont be buying this for the near future as some other expenses decided to come in the door, You know the unwelcome kind. So my savings took a hit. I will get around to this but it is looking like it will be the new year.
