Need help with CPU choice with my motherboard

Hello!
I need help to choose the The CPU with my motherboard the ASUS ROG FORMULA VI. I was thinking about the i74770k at first because of hyper threading but i've read that its not worth having at the moment so im just wondering if i should go with the i5 4670k instead of because the route is cheaper for me and such but im just wondering in performance wise if i should pay alot more for i7 then the i5.

If it is just for gaming and a little bit of other things on the side then the i5 would be fine. If you are going to do quite a bit of non gaming stuff then I'd get the i7.
