Need for Speed has been delayed on PC until Spring 2016. This will be to unlock the games framerate and increase the games visuals.

Read more on Need for Speed's Delay on PC.

Special thanks to Barnsley for spotting this.

+1 to EA for letting the devs finish the PC version properly before release. Pushing it back one quater isn't all that bad a wait.

Finally we may get the true successor to NFSU2.

Glad they're taking their time over doing the PC version properly.

I still remember when NFSU came out. I had to upgrade my GPU to a Radeon 9200 Pro so I could play it maxed. Card only cost me $130 too!

That game turned many of my online chums into PC gamers though. Even lawyers and doctors were posting pics of their hideous chavvy creations online :)

The first two NFSU games personified fun for me. They really were amazing.

So you can colour me very quietly excited about this new one.

This mirrors pretty much the same experience I had with those games :) not sure on the GPU upgrade but it was definitely fun personified

IDK why you care, this is the only person who will ever be online when you've finished the 18minutes of game play...

JR

This game is a whole different kettle of fish compared to the previous ones. No need to sh*tpost as we all know you're allergic to modified cars ;)

That was the thing though dude.

It's kinda like those stupid dances that sweep the nation. You wouldn't be caught doing it in public but you have a go once you're alone.

NFSU brought out the 'tunahhh individjewel' in every one.

Is it weird that I just read that part out aloud in a southern "Alight blad" type accent ? XD

That bloke Westwood didn't do the scene any favours either :). A 1/2 breast personified.

Looking forward to this game too, I prefer my racing games to have a bit of a back story, even if it is 18 minutes long!

I meant recent previous ones. Pretty much NFS: Carbon onwards was awful and had very little in terms of tuning. Most Wanted was probably one of my most played games back when I had a PS2.

That game was pretty fun. However my most played game was Final Fantasy 12 on ps2.. 1200 hours:p
