Need a opinion.

Actually my friend was also thinking of getting this board, his P5LD2 Deluxe doesn't support SLI or C2D.

However, couldnt you just RMA that mobo? Save you cash, and u can see if it really is the board or not.

Ive got one, serving me well. After my old PSU assasinated my 1st, ive been running this one quite happily. 3.3ghz 24/7 stable on my e4300, and ive pushed as far as 3.6. But was let down by the vdroop.

A few pointers though. Firstly you WILL need a new NB heatsink. Ive got the swiftech giant-lump-o-copper on mine and it does a fine job of keeping it cool, but the stock is terrible.

Secondly, if you'r wanting a serious overclock you'll need to do the VDroop mod. Nice and simple, but you have to be darn cearful and accurate in your DMM readings and pencil scrapings.

Other than that they its a feature-full cheap board. However you may want to wait and keep an eye out for the DFI 965-S Dark (i think its called). As that is another cheap board, but will probably be better.

Do you know when that DFI board will be released? I would like to get whatever board i chose by the 30th of april. And my real only goal is 3.2ghz for my processor, nothing real heavy may up it in the future. And the NB I can just purchase one when i buy the board.

They had a few over at ewiz, but i havn't seen them anywhere else yet. They're likly to emerge soon though.

Oh ok, I will start looking into it now, I was hoping for the lazy boy answer time to start looking :( anyway thanks.
