Need a DAC at £50 or under

I need to buy a DAC as my motherboard audio jack is producing a hissing sound with no music/audio playing and my front I/O audio jack is inactive, so I want to buy a good audio DAC with an amp for under £50. It doesn't have to be an extraordinary DAC with multiple feature I wont use as I am not audiophile and don't notice that much diffrence.

I can't spend that much money as I didn't plan for this to happen therefore not saved any money; and I have no audio at the moment and I cant really use my computer without audio.

What speakers are you running because they can hiss even without a signal being fed into them

They are quite old, Altec Lansing ADA885.

I'm sure its not the speakers because I got the audio jack and played music through my phone and it was all working fine and I connected my Antec MP141 through audio jack to my pc and it made the same sound. Do you know what could have caused it?

EDIT: Weirdly enough even though my front I/O is inactive when I connect it up through the front it makes a similar sound.

Try and touch your case when you hear the static. If it stops then the problem is something else (related to static I believe). I had it with my laptop where if I touched it, all buzzing would stop. Perhaps this wil be a similar deal.

Nothing changed, but one consistency I noticed is, when only the computer is booted into the OS the sound occurs and no audio plays, so when the computer is restarting or posting the BIOS the sound does not occur.
