Case is currently away getting powder coated so I have yet to get pics of finished case. If someone wanst to question me paying for the powder coating as it is not cheap, I traded an opty 148 for the value it would cost to get the painting done.

For all you Stacker owners and those interested in getting a Stacker. I have a thread dedicated to the Cooler Master Stacker 801/810/830.

I have dedicated it to helping others with questions about the case, possible hardware configurations and modding the case. If you own one please stop by and check out the other STACKER SLACKERs THREAD. If would please, post a pic of your Stacker, one internal shot and one external as well as list your components in your sig so we know what we are looking at.

Ooooh nice! Keep us updated with lots of pix :) Those Stackers always seem to make for the sexiest builds with all of that space!

cant wait to see this:yumyum:

i would sign up and post pics n stuff but my loyalty lies with oc3d:p

if you want pics i can dig some out though

Raging.

You should trade that 8800GTS in for a GTX, since it's eVGA you can step it up within 90 days of purchase :D

Best time to doit is when the additional G80s come out next February. From the benches 8800GTX can match or beat SLI 7900GTXs at many things, more or less, and it's a just a single GPU.

Hopefully the 8900series will be out then so the 8800GTX can drop a little...

anyway looks good so far except the CPU...if the 170 means $170 I'd say spend $180 and get a Core2Duo E6300 (1.86 GHz). If the DFI board doesn't have LGA775 and a chipset that supports Core2 (likely might not), you might consider getting a different board in the same price/performance range.

Just my two cents :)

Looking nice mate!

Those handles look familiar... You didn't borrow them off an Airplane drinks trolly did you?

So my parts finally got back and I have been busy.

Silver Stone 75ZF polished.

Running partail loop with G5, RD30 and PA120.3 hooked up to three SAN Aces on a Sunbeam Rheobus, attached to my DFI-Expert with an Opty 170 running single 8800 for now, SLI soon as well as using MCW60s on the cards.

Those Stackers are a lovely canvas to work off by the look of it.

Can u get them dirt cheap anywhere ?

you can find I think one for just under a 100$ on SVC.com I think its the T01.

Have u got a b4 picture of that 75zf, that sucker is hiiiighly polished ;)

$100 - nice, only I bet that means ~£100 >.<

How the hell did you polish that psu? DIY job? Or ship it off somewhere? This project is looking lush

Edit: Looked at the sig pics - nice sanding job!

I used 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 with warm water, dish detergent and alot of elbow grease.........3/4 of the way through this I remembered I have a little 3d Sander by craftsman, it comes with 240/400/1000 grit disks............wish I had remembered this from the START!

Anyway, went back over most of the PSU and used the 400/1k grit, but had to use the ole fashion elbow grease for 1500 and 2k grit. Then used a car wax my GFs brother has with the buffer disks that I got with the sander.
