My Temps don't seem right

how much air is getting into the case? using the factory front fan, not much.
maybe a slave fan (in the floor..ewww) could help updraft a bit more needed air
for the GPU to cool with. kinda try it and see if it is helpful. if it does, then look to
more frontal air intake or more air promotion as a whole for the case..

I dont think there is allot of air getting in to the case, but i have moved the HDD cages and that helped but over 70C is still bad i don't appear to have space to mount a bottom fan. i've also made a bodge up to see if it was because of air and set up a desk fan to do the job too but that was still hot.

Don't expect miracles out of that cooler, it's a bit pony. Certainly nowhere near the cooling prowess of something like the MSI Twin FROZR.

Umm, forgive a new guy for butting in here, but those temps are WELL within range for that card. 72-77C is nothing to worry about, as that's well within the operating specs. Nothing to worry about there at all. Plus if XFX still has the same great warranty policy, you have no worries.

Now if you really want to drop those temps, put that card underwater. :D

54c idle isn't right. The load temps, whilst not very good are more than acceptable though.

Have you overclocked it and disabled Zerocore?

Load temps are fine. If you can add more fans, do so. If not don't worry about it.

Those temps arent bad at all. I agree with Bartacus drown the card or http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/589/accelero-hybrid-7970.html?c=2182
alternatively : http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/502/accelero-xtreme-7970.html?c=2182

I have started overclocking since people were telling me my temps are fine, i'm unsure about disabling zero core how will that benefit me? dose any one have a sugestion on a good front fan for my 600t if a 200mm would cool the card better than a 2X120's and what make is best.

Is this a double D card? Someone else in the forum recently had poor temperature problems. linky

Make sure the fan speed is set above 40% on idle if you're running an OC. As I've said with everyone who has an xfx card, side fans on the case are pretty crucial as the cooler is really quite poor.Although I can see you can't do really do that on your case :l .

Yes it is a double D card, i can look into setting custom fan speeds if i knew more about it so any links or advice would be appreciated! and any advice on the clock speed too becuse im sort of bouncing around the speeds depending on how hot the card gets and the game. i can so i was wondering if any one had come up wish a solution or an amazing front air flow fan.
