My SSD is not detected everytime

Been having issues with my SSD.

Bought this MOBO:

Asus MAXIMUS VI IMPACT

When I boot sometimes it does not find the SSD, where my OS is installed on.

If the SSD is detected the computer works fine, but if I were to restart the computer, sometimes it won't find it. I'm not having problems with HDD's but only SSD's

Using Windows 7

Thank you, joachim.

Is the SSD in the first sata port? (Sata 0). I had this problem on my msi mobo fixed it by doing the above.

The SSD is connected to sata 0, but i get this message:

warning: the current BIOS setting do not fully support the boot device. Press F1 to enter the BIOS setup.

Go to advanced > boot > CSM parameters, and adjust the CSM (compatibility support module) to enable the boot advice.

Have you tried checking the sata power cables, making sure its not loose or loosing contact from the psu? -derped a few months back thinking it was my SSD dying but turns out it was a loose sata cable.

Tried changing sata cables?
Plug them in and out maybe?

Sounds like really simple unnecessary steps but you never know. Goodluck:)

Sounds like you have UEFI only boot enabled, see if there is a setting in the CSM menu that lets you have legacy boot as well as UEFI
