I usually buy my Speakers, Keyboards,Mice and little stuff here. They have FREE shipping all the time.

I got my Z-2300s here for $69 SHIPPED..They always change stuff so if they dont have something check back.

I have been buying stuff for over a year and never had a prob.

I've no personal experience with these guys, but having checked them out recently be aware they're selling on customer returns, mostly untested by the look of it. See here

I didnt know about the stuff over there. For me (I have placed over 50 orders through them direct) and everything has come within 2 or 3 days and yes some stuff comes in brown boxes (like OEM) I have never had a failure.

In the beginning they sold Platinum HDDs (I think they were made by Maxtor) for 25-$30 and I am still using some.

My speakers (Z2300s) were at the time $119 here and shipping was from $30-$80) They sold me a set for $69 shipped.

Yes I would guess some may be opened but would I buy a $1000 CPU, nope but to save more than half on a set of speakers ot keyboard heck yea:)

Why? Is it because of the limited bandwidth of PCMCIA?

yep. The max theoretical bandwidth of cardbus is 132 Mb/s, which is 16MB/s. Seeing as 100Mb/s has a max bandwidth of 12.5MB/s, your not going to get any significant speed increase between using an onboard/cardbus 10/100 adapter and a 1gb cardbus adapter.
