AMD 64 4000+ @ 2.83GHz

ASROCK 939NF4G-VSTA mobo

1gb DDR value ram

ATI X1300 nicked from my dads Dell :P

Nice CPU cooler man - what are te specs on your machine? Also I would reccommend some cable management in there - not much is needed but it would greatly improve the look of it :)

Ah yes good stuff - that is a pretty sweet overclock on your CPU dude. My 4200+ gets to around 2.79GHz I beliebieve at the moment. Waiting on new components to arrive though then I will see how far it goes.

Yeah the Arctic Cooling 64 pro really helped it. With the stock fan I was running around 55 on load, but with this fan haven't seen it go over 41 :)

It's currently at 33 idle atm but if i gave the fan and case a clean I could see it reach around 29-30 :D

And to fit it in maybe a Lian Li PC7 PLUS :) Final price for all the parts not including a case is £478.65 :cool:
 
Sounds good - Phenom is probably just around the corner now though aswell as the Penryn revisions of C2D... maybe worth the wait?
 
Haha - so yeah turns out Phenom don't perform quite as well as C2D but they are very cheap dude - any updates on your planned spec?

Oh, I rebuilt it saturday, moved my front intake fan to use as an exhaust fan, temps have dropped.. lol Maybe because I stick all the crappy IDE cables inside blocking the flow.
