Hi guys!

First time posting here.
This is my updated build.
300R
i5 4570
CM seidon 120m
Gainward GTX 770 4gb phantom
Gigabyte sniper b5
HX850
WD 1tb black/ 120 kingston ssd

Lighting
Internal lighting is from a standard NZXT hue rgb led controller.
The vertical led strip is a standard rgb strip from a hardware shop.
The coustom leds in the fans are 5050 smt rgb leds mounted on breakout boards from adafruit.

My system is nothing special, just clean and simple.
The cool part is the coustom lighting.
The two front fans are modded af140 led fans, I drilled out the original white leds and replaced them with the rgb leds from adafruit.
It was quite the hassle to find the right resistance so the leds would get the correct forward voltage. I took me probably 12h just to do those two front fans. However I feel that it was worth the effort.

I study electronics in high school, yet this project was quite difficult to figgure out. I would not advise you to try this project without a solid understanding of electeonics. Even I, who shuld know this blew up two leds because of a small short.

What do you think, is it approved?
Would love some feedback from you.

Velkommen til OC3D!

Looking pretty good there. I have always been a fan of the dimly lit green LED. Never liked the ultra bright in your face colours.

These ones you have done are quite subtle yet stand out. Nice!
