When these pictures were taken i had a bios problem that's why you can see error 55 in the Dr Debug. but that's all sorted now thanks to Feronix i would have taken newer photos but my phone decided to break, lets just say that was a bad week ;)
Any one interested in the problem i had go here: http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=49796

Like i said there's loads to be done please give me feedback good or bad and please make suggestions on improving it because I want to make it perfect!

Thanks!

That's well tidy mate! :D

New PSU with individually sleeved cables will look really good in this, make sure to grab white cables!

And ohmygaaawd, how did you get that CPU to work on a z68 board? ;)

Looks awesome dude. Nicely cable managed too from what i can see and that's what we like here :D

Led strips look great too just depends on how much light you want and where you want it. If you go on amazon and type in cold cathodes you can get them for £10 including the cathode inverter in all different colours. There basically tubes of light :) in every computer I have built I have used cold cathodes and there fantastic but led strips work just as well when I modded my old xbox 360.

Yeah I had them for my older PC (thermaltake tsunami, e5300, asus p5kpl-am, 2gb ram, 7950gt). Only problem I had was that the inverter was too bulky and no where to hide it :/

Thanks allot i try my best :P any improvements?

The only different thing i've done in my rig is due to the fact I only use one of the HDD cages i moved it across into the alternate position and removed the top HDD cage. Helps hide PSU cables and improves airflow WINWIN! (you can see this in my rig pics in the sig link)

The only other thing (which i haven't done because i can't be asked to take my mobo out at the mo) is feeding the front panel connectors behind the motherboard through the back plate hole so that you can hide the wires and just see the connector. But as i said i haven't done this personally as i'm just being lazy :p

that is true it always gets in the way and if you take the side panels off you have to unplug it but i think its worth it, i do prefer it to led strips :)

i only use one of the hdd cages, when i fit my new psu i might give that a go because it looks great in your rig. but i was thinking if i got another graphics card it would have to go back. i need to get better airflow to my graphics card too so any ideas would be appreciated. maybe moving the drive cage will help allot.
i was organically going tuck the front panel connectors behind the motherboard but when i built it i forgot about it so i will have to do that also when i fit my new psu!

Thanks for you help :)

Hey guys i was just wondering if any one had any idea on what PSU i should get for this rig? nothing extremely expensive but expensive enough to fit in with the rest of the rig?

I personally would go for a corsair or seasonic unit. The new corsair AX760/AX760i would be more than enough if you were willing to spend it.

Otherwise perhaps check out the Corsair HX series. The V2 is out now and has a gold efficency rating. I have the V1 of the HX and never had any problems with it. V quiet and aside from the CPU power it is fully modular
