hi all

this is a build I've been working on for the last two days most of it is new parts but some of it is from my last rig I like to recycle lol

I was going to do a build log but I just jumped in and before I knew it I had done most of the mods lol
heres a run down of what I used

prodigy m
msi z97m gaming board
intel 4690k
8 gb of xms3 ram old but works
amd hd7950
corsair cx600m psu
240 gb ssd
ek pump res
ek cpu and gpu blocks
alphacool 30mm 240 mm rads
nzxt led kit
and im sure there's more that I forgot

the prodigy m is not very water cooling friendly but I like a challenge so I started by cutting out the floor of the case I made up some 25mm spacers for the fans and rad grill and the psu mount had to be cut down and lifted 15mm to clear the end tank of the rad they are the two big mods I did to make all the gear fit some of the of the small bits I did was to change the side panels round so the power reset is on the back so all the cables are mostly out of sight lol the build is about 90% there but I still have some ideas on how to add more room for a extra card lol

here are some pics

this case has been a lot of work but I have enjoyed it very much but as I said its only 90% there so you may see more to come just depends on money as always :D

thanks very much

well that was the last part of the loop I fitted and I only had barbs left I didn't think I would have to use all the 45 angel barbs I had but it was a last minute thing it looks a bit odd but the funny thing is I got all the air out of the loop in 10 minutes flat so yeah it looks odd but the way the flow works out much better for getting rid of the air in the loop that line from the pump to the rad doesn't look the best but I was just working with what I had left

but at some point I will be moving the pump towards the back more so it lines up better as im thinking of using hard lines and adding one more card

off topic but is your avatar a pic of a savage X? Love the build btw. Been wanting to see someone do something with this case.

thank you guys glad to see you like it

I wish I could fit a atx size board if I could have I would have dropped in a msi m power I love the look of that board and im trying to move away from red and black builds lol I love small water cooled builds before this rig I had a itx water cooled but I decided to make the jump to z97 from z77 so I went with a matx due to the extra cost of a z97 itx it works out better as I plan to mod the roof soon and fit two cards lol as if I haven't got plenty in it as it is
all of the water cooling bits I have reused from my itx but some how my temps are much better then wen I used the card in the itx I was getting about 45c at 100% it now 39c at 100% and that was running valley and catzilla the cpu hits 46c tops but its not over clocked yet as im still getting used to a new uefi

I hope it has given you guys some ideas for builds or mods id love to see someone take it to the next level :)
