I just OCed my Linksys router from 200mhz to 216mhz. Woot!
Idk if ill keep going. If i can find a steady 5 or 12v source on the router board (So i dont cut the power cable) ill put a fan on the chip and OC it more. I just started messing with this thing tonight. Got it apart (While it was on) and BOY that Broadcom chip gets hot as hell! I put a ram heatsink from a 5600ultra (Big long one) on it and its keeping it cool now.
So far, 16mhz makes a huge difference. Seems load times for my wee router are less and i think if i went to speed test id find my internet speed might be faster.....maybe. Idk how that works.
