My Lian-Li Review

Thought i'd post my own review regarding my brothers new Lian-LiPC-V300 Aluminum Micro ATX Mini Tower Case.

When this case arrived, i didn't know what to expect... smaller than a YY cube for sure and very light... as aluminium always is.

Packed very well and was shipped via Citylink. A majority of the time, i've had bad experiences with them but for such a fragile case, it came intact!

First opinions... very shiny and posh looking. One of the best looking mini cases i've seen for a while.

The front is fully aluminium which can be taken off and has a lot of holes for better airflow.

The front contain 2 USB, Firewire, Microphone and Speaker ports.

Rather than having the drives at the front like most cases, Lian-Li have decided to place them on the side for a much cleaner look.

There is also an 80mm fan on one side to act as the exhaust and push away all the hot air creating inside... though in my opinion, it would be better if a 120mm was fitted instead. More than enough space for one.

Rear of the case. PSU mount located at the top with a hard drive rack on the other side.

Removable Mobo tray comes with 4 spare pci slots as usual. Theres also 2 more mounts for 2 40mm fans by the looks of things which is a nice touch though i doubt that would help much.

Inside:

Looking from the back, you can see the 2 80mm fans at the front which pulls in air to cool the components. Cables for the front ports/power and fans included as with all other cases too.

Better view from the side.. good to show how much space is provided. Would be hard for watercooling unless some extensive modding was done.

Lastly, the feet looks nice and shiny. Also made out of metal and easy to remove if intented.

Conclusion:

All in all, this case is very sleek and sexy! But could do with a few minor touch-ups and changes as mentioned before.

5/5 Highly recommended!

Damn that is nice!! Didn't know that Lian Li put out a "cube" case. Where did you get it and how much did it set you back mate?

Size comparison alongside my case :)

Sorry if the case's look slanted.. Both cases won't fit snugly on my desk due to the size. :(
