hi there. my name is Conall , i live in Newry, in Northern Ireland. ive just finished my last year in grammer school, so i'l be taking a year out, and then heading off to uni i think, to study something compy related ^^.

er... i have a shi**y rig at the moment, but am creating my first build pretty soon <i hope>.

i'm not exactly clueless about pc's thanks to playing games on it at the age of 4-5 lol. i used to play commander keen, xenon, titus fox and Z lol! aswell as doom hehe. this along with my habit of reading the likes of computer shopper which my dad bought and custom pc which i began buying aswell as working in a local pc shop doing repairs for experience has gotten me where i am today :o .

i'm on OCuk aswell for members who also have an account there. anyway hope i get along with every1. :worship: thats all for now, see you around :p

You sound like me about a year ago - Well into games, knew a few things about PCs but not built my own before.

This place has got very helpful people to help you along to your 1st PC build, but also will get you addicted to Counterstrike :yumyum:

@whoever asked me to post pics of my rig. that WAS THE FUNNIEST JOKE EVER!:D , no really, this pc is a 4 year old peace of e-machines cra* if you get what i mean :P. 256mb pc2100 ram and a 2.6ghz northwood in it lol. did i mention integrated graphics? (sigh). i got myself a nice motherboard and 2gb ram, then found out the case only supports MATX and not full size ATX, so i have to wait till i get a new case and PSU, and i don't have the money, doh. ah well. :rolleyes: gtg now, my friends have called me out to go to the yokel football pitch:) , ciao
 
Gamefreak, even an old northwood can still do alot.

sounds like it could be a good base for a htpc for example-
 
ive no need for one of those heh. i'l be putting my pc in my room if i ever get it built . this is my dad's rig, all he needs it for is the net and what not. man i'm so jealous though. one of my pals whos only ten days younger than me got a dell XPS 700 for his birthday -_-, which is on the 20th. ( mine was on the 10th obviously!). thats life i guess. *stupid life!* heh.
