Nice, much ROG, you certainly filled that case out nicely. The floor even looks good with a couple of WD Blacks on show.

If you wanna watercool then take all of your remaining moneyz, put them in a brown envelope and throw it in the river :). Slightly more seriously though if you want a big project and a learning curve then go for it, particularly if you value silence and quality components, but from a price/performance angle it makes no sense. Which doesn't mean you shouldn't :p

Me personally I would get a backplate for you card and get a full set of bespoke cables, maybe a bit of white lighting and that thing would look 1337. Lot's of nice hardware, I can see you left room for another 780Ti :).

Thank you very much kind sir, I looked for a case that was easy to work with and room to expand if need be and the Air 540 seemed ideal being dual chamber and all that jazz.

After looking at prices for a full custom loop ive changed my mind and decided against it purely because I don't need it as I don't intend to OC like a trooper and as for noise the Corsair quiet editions all round make it virtually silent anyway.

Its funny you mention the blackplate as I was actually looking to get my hands on one but they seem to be as rare as unicorn shit! Aha

I have a set of CableMod sleeved cables on the way to me as we speak but I may order couple of small LED strips for top and bottom of the case.

Id love to SLI but doubt I will find another 780ti classy for £300! May wait to see if there will be a 980ti or equivalent in the making.

Indeed they are. I have an EVGA 780 Classy backplate (identical but without Ti), had to get it shipped from Australia but it's on a shelf somewhere now.

You can have just as much overclocking fun without a loop, I bet you didn't find half of the cost either, fittings and fittings and fittings add up really quickly!

Damn, How much did it cost plus shipping? Ive seen a used one on eBay for £40 with no screws lol Im wondering if it not having the "Ti" would bother me lol No one really goes inside my pc apart from myself!

I just looked on OCUK for bundles etc and a half decent bundle is £300 lol

I bet you would spend £600 in the first order if you went in hard and got obsessed with every detail. Like I said, great fun, very pretty but it makes no price sense unless you value aesthetics very highly over performance. Most of the kits aren't everything you would want either but anyway fast, quiet and good looking air cooled rigs are certainly very possible and your certainly on the way there.

It was like $37 AUS + Shipping + Tax, in the end two backplates and an EVGA SLI bridge worked out at ~£80 I think, stupidly expensive.

Yeah I can think of better things to spend £600 on, plus I think my PC looks slick as it stands now.

To be honest the TI not being there wouldn't isn't as much of a issue compared trying to find one with the TI on it! As I said its only me who gets close enough also my friends wouldn't know the difference, As long as im happy I couldn't care less aha

Rig update.........

Hey guys, Just a RIG update for you all.

I managed to find a backplate for my 780ti =] Looks cleaner!

I also have installed sleeved cables.

I thinking of getting some LED strips just to help light it up a bit as im sick of using a torch because my room has such bad lighting!
