After much umming and arring, and some excelent advice from the guys in the Hexus forums, I am now the proud owner of an inspiron 6400

The Laptop closed -
The Laptop - open - back facing
Face on -
Specs wise -
Intel Centrino Duo (Core Duo) T2500 - 2Ghz
2Gb DDR-667
Dell 1680x1050 15.4" TFT
80Gb IDE Hard Disk
Radeon Mobility X1300 Graphics
DVD+-RW
And the best bit - due to the free double memory, free delivery - it cost £940, which I didn't think was too bad. Using it so far, I think I'll be able to turn off the paging file to enable better battery life (less hdd usage) and the processor seems to be able to run at 998mhz for most of the time (except when running image editors, or installing stuff)
Just thought I'd show off really,
