My first build.

First computer build, I love it, and can't complain about much. First few pics are when I didn't have the Matrix 7970.

Intel i7 3770K Stock clocks
16GB 4x4 Corsair 1600Mhz Vengeance RAM
Asus Maximus V Formula
WD 1TB 7200Rp, HDD
Intel 335 240GB SSD
Asus Matrix 7970 Platinum Asus stock clocks (1100Mhz Core 6.6Ghz Mem)
Cooler Master HAF X Stock fans
SeaSonic 860w Platinum
Generic Asus DVD drive
Windows 8 Pro 64 bit

As for upgrades an H100i is a definite. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Yes definitely get a different cooler. h100i is a great choice.

I would have gone fro a different PSU, but hey, you can always sleeve those cables! Also, spend a little more time on cable management, and you'll have yourself a beautiful build

if you've seen some of Tom's builds, he suggests the 8-pin threaded through the
mobo cutout and loop over the motherboard. keeps from long exposed cables.
and you can do the upper fan cable as well.
the lower connections can be threaded and looped from under the motherboard.

very nice build mate... like said above just work a bit on the cable management and it will look 100 times better

Them 5 cables at the bottom stick a zip tie on them..and the back fan cable see if you can push the cable for it down the side to hide it alittle and it be a nice clean tidy unit...but still a good first build matey ...seeing the words matrix on that g-card i would of had my paints out now making it into a matrix style case

I don't really care about cable management enough to do much more about it lol. My rig isn't on display at an arts museum!

And yeah the bracket supporting the Matrix came with the HAF X. That thing sags like a sack of rocks without it!!

CABLE MANAGEMENT! But it's not bad, I am sure you will learn cause after all this is your first build and no one is born with knowledge. Definitely get a better cooler for that beautiful CPU!

I will get an H100i, I unfortunately do not have an unlimited cash flow!

Nice build so far. Good choice of PSU in particular. Gives you headroom for Crossfire should you feel the need to go in that direction esp. with that Matrix 7970. And about your cables, a little extra time investment to manage them proper will never hurt.
