My first build (insane gaming rig)

I'm going to be building my first computer and tossing my console once and for all! My experience with computer building is very little but I have done a lot research and came up with an insane build.

Note: This build would seem overkill for most people but I am going to be gaming/streaming in 2560x1600 res

Specs:
PSU- Corsair ax1200

GPU- 2 x Msi gtx 680 4gb oc edition

CPU- i7 3930k

RAM- 32gb Corsair dominator platinum 2133

Mobo- Rampage 4 extreme

CPU cooler- Corsair h100i push/pull sp120 QE's

Chassis- Merlin sm8 (I plan to use a custom loop eventually but I want to get familiar with the pc "hands on" seeing I have never built a computer I just researched how to ect..)

So far the cpu cooler and ram came in. I am leak testing the cooler and stress testing the ram all seems well so far! I will post pictures when everything is done, wish me luck.

3930k - love it, have one myself but if its just for gaming, go for ivybridge unless money is no object

2 680s, cant really advise against that especially for that resolution and cryengine 3

However, a 1200w PSU, please dont buy this, its massive overkill, 750 - 850W would be much much better.

Personally I wouldnt go 3930k for gaming. Most games wont use it to near it potential. A 3570k would be a better gaming processor.

Secondly you can power 2 gtx gtx 680s and a 3930k with a 860w powersupply so if you went to the 3570k you would be fine with a 860. There is no need for the 1200w.

You also do not need 32gb of ram and I am assuming the only reason you went with that is to fill all the dimm slots with the nice platinums. If so if you went 3570k you could still fill them and save half the money on your ram and still have overkill for gaming.

Lastly if you plan on watercooling your 680s I would recommend picking up an evga card as they have excellent warranties that cover you even if you water cool them. Also scan have both cards at the same price so you that is what I would do.

With the money saved by the above you could would easily get the bulk of your custom loop.

I am not sure if I am going to be liquid cooling the gpu's yet like I said this will be my first time ever building a pc. once im am comfortable I will most likely custom cool the cpu first than work my way from there. It may sound like i'm afraid (which is true) wouldn't you be if you had no experience and you were toying around with 4k in hardware? lol

My component choices are on spot aside from the 1200w power supply.
The processor and ram choices are because i am going to be playing and streaming games such as but not limited to World of Warcraft. note this will be done while playing at max setting with res set to 2560x1600 also I wanted to fill my dim slots lmao. but yes thanks for the tips everybody I have opted for a different power supply but everything else remains the same for now. note not everything has been purchased yet which is why I haven't posted any dates on which I will have pictures for you all!

Most of what I picked in hardware is to match with my personality. I am constantly finding different things that I like IE streaming and who knows if I will get into rendering editing or insanely moding a games graphics ect with the build in place I can't see myself being limited by anything but things that require insane cooling and cpu overclocks IE competing in benchmarks ect...
