My Black/Yellow Rig

Okay after i had presented the building of my new pc in the build log section, here it is in the rig gallery.

I have a 500R too and I wanted to paint it in a similar fashion to yours (Blue and yellow rather than black and yellow)

First off, how in the world do you get the top section of the case off? I've pulled out all the screws and such but the front portion of it still feels like its locked into something. I'm not sure if there is somewhere I should be pushing or pulling to get it free, but I dont want to break it either.

Secondly, what kind of yellow did you use? And what was your painting method?

Ahh....Okay. I suspected those two screws were the last thing holding me back, but I wanted to find confirmation before I ended up accidentally unscrewing something I shouldnt have. Thank you! : )

I used 255,255,180 . I tried to get a clean white.... 255,255,255 looks much more like blue

Secondly, what kind of yellow did you use? And what was your painting method?

In german, the color is called "Rapsgelb".....in english maybe "Canola-Yellow" or "Cadmium-Yellow"?

At first, i emerized the parts i wanted to paint. After that, i sprayed the parts with base coat and finally i sprayed them yellow.

If you want to paint your case too, watch out that your paintings do not react with each other

I sleeved them on my own.

I know my english is not the very best....

It's plastic.

I just removed the mesh and drilled holes in the window and the side panel. Put some screws in there....finish.
