My 1st Build :)

Can't you get a hard disk 1TB storage? they are super cheap nowadays.
Other than that, looks good to me! :)

I will do when i have some more money as a storage device but i wanted a fast SSD boot drive and i have an old 2.5" 140GB laptop hardrive for extra storage until then as i know it will take me a while to fill the 1TB it will come in the future.

I understand it's a budget build, but I'd seriously consider getting a higher quality PSU. PSU is the one thing you don't want to skimp on. If the PSU goes so does everything else.

I cant afford anything else it was orginally a EVGA powersupply and I was advised by people on this forum and tomshardware against it and to get the XFX PSU as they are made by seasonic and acctually stick to the 80+ bronze rating.

It's got more quality than others even at 80+ bronze, however I was thinking just a higher quality unit. If budget won't allow it then it's something to think about in the future

An 860K and a 380 is a bit of an odd combo. I'd try and get an i3 and whatever GPU you can get with that.

He already has the CPU/Mobo/cooler.

I completely agree it will be a working progress until I get it perfect just wanted to get it built on a tight budget atm and will upgrade in the future. Also the XFX PSU comes with a 5 year warranty so if it goes wrong it's covered.

It's an odd combo because it's a low end CPU paired with a quite a mid to high end GPU. That's all he was saying on that

True but the 860K overclocks quite well and with more programs making use of more than 2 cores it is a fairly good cheap quad core CPU combined with a relatively high end GPU should perform well in games.

I promised you all pictures so here are a few of the build so far.

Not bad but the cable management could use little more work on the front. Like the front IO could be routed behind the tray and come up from underneath instead of across the board

The front IO is routed behind the tray the only cable that goes across the board is the front fan cable as its not long enough to go under the tray

So i've got myself a really cheap GTX 680 coming from my uncle along with a 21" widescreen LG mointor so hopefully will get this built by next week.
