need some advise on the new GTX700 series cards...

Does the GTX700 series cards requires 120 HZ monitors to be gaming on three monitors across.

In the past i remember they had to be 120 HZ in order to have multi display gaming.

"In the Kepler architecture, support up to four displays on a single card. Satisfy your multi-screen setup, high definition and extreme gaming experience."

that to me doesnt say gaming across three screens...

also do you require two cards for 3 screens..

iirc 60 or 120 dont matter for multi screens. I doubt if you have 3 120's a single card will push that rez anywhere close to 120fps anyways.

As said - not really any combination of cards currently will push 3 screens to 120FPS/hz.

Just save money and go for 60hz IPS monitors if you're wanting Nvidia Surround/Eyefinity.

I think you are confusing 3D Vision with 3D Surround or possibly 3D Surround Vision, nVidia don't make it easy! You only need 60hz monitors.

One 600/700 series card can run 3 displays in surround and one accessory display but you may want two for the physical grunt all depending on what your planning to do and ofc budget. With GTX500's you needed two cards, I used to run 60hz 5760*1080 with SLI 570's.
